Privacy Policy

Who we are

PetTalk (pettalk.com.au) is an Australian pet-product directory. We list products from retailers and earn a commission when you buy through some of our links. We do not sell products or take payment for them on this site.

Information we collect

If you create an advertiser account we collect your name, email address, business name, ABN and contact details, plus the product listings you submit. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address. Browsing the catalogue does not require an account.

When you click "Buy Now" we record the product, time, referring page and basic browser details so we can measure clicks. We do not record payment details; purchases happen on the retailer's website.

How we use it

We use your information to run advertiser accounts, review and publish listings, respond to enquiries, report click activity to advertisers and keep the site secure.

Third parties

Retailer sites and affiliate networks (such as Commission Factory) have their own privacy policies and may use cookies when you visit them. We do not sell your personal information. Our hosting and sign-in providers process data on our behalf.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, as provided by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), by emailing shop@pettalk.com.au.
